FAT FREEZING

Cryolipolysis (fat freezing) is a non-invasive body contouring treatment which uses controlled cooling to selectively target and destroy fat cells, providing a safer alternative to liposuction surgery.

The term Cryolipolysis is derived from the Greek roots cryo; meaning cold, lipo; meaning fat and lysis; meaning dissolution or loosening.

It involves the controlled cooling of subcutaneous fat cells, without damaging any of the surrounding tissue. The degree of exposure to cooling causes controlled fat cell death. The dead fat cells are then naturally processed and eliminated by the body’s lymphatic system.

This module goes through how CoolSlimming Cryolipolysis works in the body.

We have 2 types of fat in our bodies, Visceral and Subcutaneous. CoolSlimming is able to directly target the Subcutaneous Fat cells and remove stubborn pockets of fat.

Visceral Fat - Visceral fat is body fat that is stored within the abdominal cavity.

It is therefore stored around a number of important internal organs such as the liver, pancreas and intestines.

Subcutaneous Fat - Subcutaneous fat sits under the skin, as opposed to visceral fat which surrounds the organs. Everyone has some subcutaneous fat, and that’s the fat CoolSlimming is designed to freeze and destroy.

CoolSlimming Fat Freezing uses advanced cooling technology to selectively target and destroy fat cells, without harming the surrounding tissues and nerves.

Stage 1 - Preparation

Get Ready For A Transformation!

No matter how much we eat healthy and exercise sometimes we are left with stubborn pockets of fat. During consultation with your client, discuss the treatment areas and take measurements at each appointment.

In Stage 1, by preparing the machine with the parameters discussed during consultation we are ready to begin safe and targeted cooling that will be delivered to the fat cells.

Using CoolSlimming advanced cooling technology to selectively target and destroy fat cells, without harming the surrounding tissues and nerves. Always place a CoolSlimming Anti-Freeze Membrane on the treatment area. This process allows the CoolSlimming Cryolipolysis to protect the skin leaving it unaffected.

Stage 2. The Treatment

The CoolSlimming Cryolipolysis Applicators will then begin to cool down to the temperature set at the beginning of the session. The temperature can be set between 0°C-10°C dependant on the consultation.

Usually this takes around 45 mins for each area (except the chin which has a maximum process time of 20 minutes at -5°C)

Depending on the amount of fat and the temperature the CoolSlimming Cryolipolysis machine is set to freeze the fat cells results can be seen in the next 3-12 weeks

Stage 3 - Self Care

Stage 3, includes one of the most important part of the process.

After the CoolSlimming Cryolipolysis Treatment is complete the area is massaged which helps break down large amounts of adipose tissue. This is where the magic then happens.

With the fat cells separated and the targeted fat cells frozen clients need to ensure they are eating right and drinking plenty of fluids because this part is entirely up to them. Depending on the amount of fat and the temperature the CoolSlimming Cryolipolysis machine is set to freeze the fat cells results can be seen in the next 3-12 weeks.

With CoolSlimming Cryolipolysis technology up to 40% of the fat cells in the treated area are destroyed permanently. Over these vital weeks the fat cells that were frozen and destroyed are naturally processed and eliminated by the body’s lymphatic system so fluids are vital.

As CoolSlimming Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive procedure, clients can return to their daily routine without any hiccups in day to day life.

Stage 4 - Results

The final stage, Stage 4.

After having the treatment with CoolSlimming Cryolipolysis the treated area looks more sculpted and toned because the body has eliminated the fat cells from that area. Continuous improvement occurs the more the area is treated.

The CoolSlimming Fat Freezing procedure can be used to safely reduce unwanted fat from all major areas.

CoolSlimming is can be used to treat everywhere from the knees to the chin, including the abdomen (Upper and lower) , flanks, love handles, bra-bulges, back fat, inner and outer thighs and banana roll (piece of fat under the bum), and chin.

Each treatment of up to 4 areas takes up to 45 minutes plus 15 minutes for consultation.

This may be a little longer during the initial consultation period.

Depending on your body fat and your own goals, 1-3 round of treatments will give even further results.

You must leave a minimum of 4 weeks before treating the same area.

Depending on your body type and the amount of fat you have, you may see results in as little as 3 weeks.

In general, you will begin to see results at around week 4 and see optimum results after 12 weeks.

Once you are settled into your treatment you can chose to do whatever you like as long as you stay on the treatment bed.

You can relax and read, carry out some work on your phone or even chat to your therapist.

After your initial consultation, your therapist will mark out your treatment areas and place a CoolSlimming Anti-Freeze membrane on the area to protect your skin.

The targeted area will then be covered with a CoolSlimming Treatment Applicator, this will suck your skin into the Treatment Applicator and you will feel a pulling sensation.

After an initial feeling of heat you will then start to feel the skin go cold and then it will become numb.

There is little to no discomfort during the treatment.

Once you have finished your treatment you can carry on your day as normal because the Treatment is Non-Invasive.

You may have some slight redness and numbness but this will subside within a day or two.
