Advantages include faster shot and treatment speed, less discomfort associated with treatments, better efficacy, user friendly design and interface, automatic handpiece recognition, and shot count information function. Patients can go in for a “lunchtime treatment” and go back to their normal routine afterwards.

Below the surface (epidermis), your skin is made up of three important layers: the superficial dermis, the deeper dermis and the SMAS layer, the 'infrastructure' layer that connects your skin to the muscular structures below. With age, the building blocks of supple, youthful skin (collagen, elastic fibres and a gel-like substance called the extrafibrillar matrix) lose their strength and elasticity and the SMAS layer loses its ability to support your skin. The result is loose, sagging and wrinkled skin. Ultraformer treatment tackles sagging skin at all three levels.
Ultraformer works with geometric precision. Micro-focused ultrasound sends bursts of finely tuned energy to precise depths to stimulate regeneration. The target tissues are heated to the specific temperatures required to induce 'thermal injury', which causes the collagen to contract, and then, over time, to produce new and stronger collagen.

Ultraformer or HIFU treatment is ideal for areas that are particularly prone to sagging skin such as the full face, double chin, neck and décolletage. It can also be used effectively for skin tightening on the body such as loose mummy tummy skin, knees, legs etc.

You can expect to experience two phases of results:
You will feel an immediate tightening of your skin in the treated area, as the heat from the micro-focused ultrasound contracts the network of collagen fibres. The strands of protein that make up collagen shrink when exposed to the levels of heat used in the Ultraformer treatment.
Micro-focused ultrasound also stimulates other cells, called fibroblasts, to manufacture new, stronger collagen. This gradually develops over a period of months. This result is gradual lifting of the skin in the treated area, as the support structure fill out.

The positive effects of your Ultraformer HIFU skin tightening treatment will be noticeable immediately after your appointment. Benefits will peak between three and six months after treatment. The new collagen produced will get stronger, and structure more youthful than before. This in turn makes your skin stronger and better supported, helping to reverse the effects of ageing on your skin.

1. Cease prescription retinol products 5 days before treatment
2. Ensure skin is well hydrated by increasing fluid intake 1 week prior
3. Do not take anti inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, Voltaren for 24 hours before unless prescribed
4. You may take paracetamol 30 minutes before your treatment
5. Do not expose the treatment area to sunlight unprotected for at least 24 hours prior to your procedure

Flushing, redness, tingling and sensitivity are normal following treatment. These will resolve over 24 hours to 2 weeks. Rarely tingling may last up to 3 weeks.
Use gentle skin care products and simple moisturisers after your Ultraformer treatment
Refrain from using occlusive ointments and make up on skin for 8 hours
Do not expose treated area to further heat for 24 hours e.i avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, hot baths, extremely hot showers
You may take paracetamol following your procedure
Do not expose treated area to sunlight for 24 hours unless protected by hat and SPF

That’s why we have some basic policies in place to ensure everyone enjoys their SCULPTD experience. They’re not rules, they’re just some general guidelines to keep in mind to make sure your experience with us goes as smoothly as possible.

LATE ARRIVALS
Please ensure you arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. However, we understand that due to your busy schedule, you may find yourself running late. If you think you are going to be late, please call and let us know. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to complete the full service you booked.
CANCELLATIONS
A non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of making a booking. We understand that stuff happens, and sometimes you need to reschedule your appointment with us. If you need to reschedule, 48 hours notice is required. Failure to do so will result in a loss of deposit. Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
NO SHOWS
In the event of a no-show, deposits taken at the time of booking will be forfeited and will not be carried over to any future bookings. If you did not pay a deposit at the time of booking, you will be required to pay 50% of the total missed appointment before making any future bookings.
If you have pre purchased a package and do not attend your 'free' appointment - 50% of the treatment time will be forfeited.
